A Spiritual Refreshment

Gospel Template

Today's Verse

"How God anointed Jesus of Nazereth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with him." - Acts 10:38

Have you ever tried gardening? Most of us know that when you place a flower or a plant in the right position, great things can happen. When provided all it needs to bloom, something amazing can happen. Now take a moment to think about spiritual refreshment. When a heart yearns for more of the presence of the living God, a greater and more enduring bond of great strength takes shape. The presence of God is welcomed in, whole-heartedly. The essence of the living power of God, or His anointing comes and begins to move in a mighty way. God anointed Jesus to do great things. We are beautifully created in His image. Therefore, when the spiritual refreshment of that anointing is within us, we blossom. There are no limits with the mighty power of God at work in your life. – Commentary by Lisa M. Leto

Today's Prayer

Father, my greatest wish is to draw closer to You. I want the refreshment of Your anointing to overflow in my life each day. Amen.

To all of our members that reside in the USA, Happy Labor Day.

Have a Blessed Day,

A Heart Of Wonder Like God

Gospel Template

Today's Verse

"O sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvelous things; his right hand, and his holy arm hath gotten him the victory." - Psalm 98:1

Have you ever seen a little child with vision problems get glasses for the first time? It is a truly wondrous thing to behold. When the doctor places that pair of glasses on their face it opens a whole new wonderful world. When we have a relationship with the Lord, we seek His wonder for our heart and life. If we pursue that wonder with a genuine heart of humbled desire, then it becomes a part of us. It creates new pathways to who we are. We see things with a much simpler and brighter perspective. We can see the light of a new day and the brilliant rays of hope on the horizon. We can envision great things because the wonder of God is within us. – Commentary by Lisa M. Leto

Today's Prayer

Precious Father, The greatest desire of my heart is to live every moment of my life with Your wonder guiding my steps. Let me always be in the positive realm of Your presence. Amen.

I hope and pray each and every one of you has a great day!  Also don't forget to add us to your contact list so that your email provider doesn't filter out our messages.

Treat Others well, In Love

Gospel Template

Today's Verse

"They have testified to your love before the church. You will do well to send them on their way in a manner worthy of God." - 3 John 1:6

The Book of 3rd John is a book that is quite often overlooked. It's a very short book, if not the shortest, but it is filled with great little scriptural treasures. This one speaks about a man named Gaius. Gaius is a leader in the church at Ephesus and formerly was a student of John. Here, John is reminding Gaius of a golden rule of sorts. "Even though they are strangers, treat them well, with love." In this specific scenario, it seems, John is asking Gaius to provide for them, in a manner worthy of God. This is a reminder to us today that we should do the same. When we treat others as we want to be treated, in love, we too can do so in a manner worthy of God. Go forth and do so. – Commentary by Matthew Elliott

Today's Prayer

Father God, thank You for teaching us to love others as You have loved us. Remind me daily to go forth and do as John has taught Gaius to do. Help me treat others in a manner worthy of You. Amen.
