A Father’s Comforting Heart

Gospel Template

Today's Verse

"The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion; and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life." – Psalm 128:5

Do you remember getting a minor bump or scrape as a small child? You somehow knew exactly who to turn to. It was a caring adult, usually Mom or Dad, who had a cute band aid and the right words to make it all better. We look for that same reassurance and comfort upon life's journey. We might sometime get hurt in life, but we look for that gentle touch and inspiration that motivates us to persevere. We can only find that single credible and trustworthy source in the Lord. He is the Creator of all and the author of every tomorrow. When we make the wise decision to live for Him, He will comfort us, provide for us, and bless us all of the days of our lives. He will take care of it all if we give it completely over to Him with love. – Commentary by Lisa M. Leto

Today's Prayer

God, You are the comfort that makes my days a beautiful masterpiece. I am complete and whole because of You. Amen.

Have you ever woke up one morning and said, "Thank You God! because of you I am alive?" Stan Larkin did, every morning. Stan lived 555 days without an actual functioning heart. To see how he survived click the link below.

Show Israel That Christians Stand With Them

In the Land of Israel,
planting trees is not just
an act of gardening,
it is a prophetic action.

God promised in the Bible,
"Break out with glad song, O mountains,
O forest and all its trees, for the Lord
has redeemed Jacob, and He will glorify
Himself through Israel."
ISAIAH (44:23)

Blind Corrector

Today's Verse

"This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to act in accordance with all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall be successful." - Matthew 7:3

It is quite interesting that those who can easily judge others have bigger problems themselves. It is impossible to correct other people's mistakes and lead them to the right path if our eyes are blinded by our own sin. The verse speaks of a simple truth and a reminder for all of us. Let us not be quick to judge others when we have personal issues and problems that demands our attention. We should focus on how we can please God and glorify Him. So that we can teach others to do the same. Let us surrender totally to God and ask Him to forgive us so that we can learn to forgive others. Let us remember the two greatest commandment that Jesus mentioned. Let us love God with all our hearts and let us love others the way we love ourselves. - Commentary by Jeremy B. Trio

Today's Prayer

Lord forgive us for judging others. Whenever we see other people's mistakes, may this be a reminder for us that we also have our mistakes and issues to deal with. Help us Lord to focus on glorifying you and pleasing you, for you are our God and king of our lives. Amen.

Shepherd of Life

Gospel Template

Today's Verse

"I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep" – John 10:11

Jesus desires that we will one day know the same love that He knows. A love that comes from The Father, who is God. He wants us to understand that He will do whatever it takes to help us gain even the smallest little glimpse of that love, in the brokenness of the world around us. As the Shepherd of life, Jesus wholeheartedly desires that we know the love that He knows. No one can ever take this love away; it's given freely to all that accept it. Whether we like to admit it or not, understanding love is one of humanity's deepest desires. As you go about your day, take a moment to think about Jesus as the Good Shepherd of Life. Let the love of the Father embrace and engulf you in His light. – Commentary by Matthew Elliott

Today's Prayer

Father God, I know that it doesn't always seem like it, but I am so blessed by the life You have given me. Teach me to understand Your love better today. Remind me often that You are the Good Shepherd. Amen.
