We are Blessed

Gospel Template

Today's Verse

"How blessed are those whose actions are blameless who obey the law of the Lord. How blessed are those who observe His rules and seek Him with all their heart." – Psalm 119:1-2

Whether we realize it or not, we are blessed. Why? Well, because we are given the opportunity to seek after God's own heart in our daily lives. There is more to God's heart than we will ever be able to understand and having the ability to strive to be blameless in His eyes is worth more than anything you can imagine. Each day we are given the chance to obey the laws of the Lord and to seek Him with all our hearts. Doing this opens some pretty amazing doors for us to walk through if we choose to do so. Today, look for ways your actions can become blameless, ask Him, "What can I do, Lord, to be more like you." In the end, the way He leads may just surprise you. – Commentary by Matthew Elliott

Today's Prayer

Father God, thank You for all that You've done in our lives. Today, I pray that I will be one who observes Your way and who seeks You with all my heart. Show me how I can honor You. Amen.
