Today's Verse

"Behold the fowls of the air; for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?" – Matthew 6:26

Family vacations were always great fun. But, they would have never been a success without Mom. She planned out the whole schedule. She was then up early with a list, making sure that everything was packed, ready, and accounted for. All of the provisions were in place. The trip was always victorious because of Mom, her love, dedication, and hard work. What would every day of life be like without the presence of an awesome God? He is always there, making sure that we have the provisions that we need for each day of life, when we need them. We never have to worry or be filled with anxiety. Sometimes, that is not easy if we focus solely on our humanity. But, we must live for Him, and have faith. It is then, without the existence of doubt, that we will see his presence in a mighty way. He is our great Provider. We can always lean on Him and depend upon Him. – Commentary by Lisa M. Leto
