Faithful Reminder

Today's Verse

Therefore I intend to keep on reminding you of these things, though you know them already and are established in the truth that has come to you - 2 Peter 1:12

Reading this verse always reminds me of my eldest brother. He is a deacon in our local church, a mature Christian and senior citizen at 67 yrs old. Like Peter, he never gets tired of reminding believers about God's promises and faithfulness, whenever we have fellowship inside or outside the church. Even though he knows very well I already know these things, it is a great privilege and blessing having my own brother as my mentor in life. He never fails to refresh my memory about God's goodness. He's always there to encourage me and help me grow to a mature Christian. He also keeps me from being an ineffective witness to others. Jesus has commanded us to love one another and what better way to obey that command, then by being a constant reminder and example of His love to others. - Commentary by Mark Natividad

Today's Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank you so much for putting Holy Spirit-filled people in our lives to help us grow and mature in Your love. Thank You for the gift of fellowship with fellow believers that continues to inspire us to work more passionately and harder for the advancement of Your Kingdom. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

There is nothing like a supportive friend or in this case supportive friends. Watch this video and be inspired.

In gratitude,
David
