Today's Verse "Look, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel," which means, "God is with us." - Matthew 1:23 | | | This prophecy was spoken by Isaiah, one of the prophets from the Old Testament. The amazing thing about God's Word is that it will not come back to Him void. Once it is prophesied, it will always serve its purpose. The accuracy of its fulfillment has stunned many people across the world. Mary, the earthly mother of Jesus, had never been touched by Joseph, and while she was in her virginity, the Holy Spirit came upon her and she conceived Jesus. Like the verse says: His name should be Emmanuel, which means, "God is with us." Often times the enemy wants to attack us with various problems in order to make us believe that God is not with us. It is his tactic to implant doubt in our hearts that we are alone in fighting our battles. My friend, you are no longer alone for God is with you wherever you go. His presence in your life is your greatest reward. Don't ever be discouraged when storms hit your house, because God is taking care of your home. - Commentary by Dionivie Tacder | | Today's Prayer Lord, thank you for being with me always.
