Today's Verse

"He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?" - Micah 6:8

Have you ever watched or have had the opportunity to participate in an obstacle course? The person is challenged to get to the finish line successfully. However, they must work on a series of obstacles to get to the next step toward their goal. Each one is a little more rugged than the previous one. But, it builds strength, endurance, and the heart of a true winner. When we begin our walk with the Lord, it is truly a fulfilling, yet challenging journey. We must bring honor to His presence and our bond with Him. This is accomplished through carrying the Word in our hearts, serving Him, working on the purpose that He has for us, and living each moment with His love. There will be obstacles. But, when we are equipped with the shield of faith and trust, each one will be a stepping stone of strength to success with Him! - Commentary by: Lisa M. Leto
