Today's Verse

"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and do not forget all his benefits." - Psalm 103:2

This verse tells us that we should bless the Lord and to not forget all His benefits. The benefits from verses 3 to 5 are forgiveness, redemption and satisfaction and there are many others mentioned in the succeeding verses. These benefits are indeed difficult to forget because it reminds us of all the great things God has done for us. Forgetting these benefits would mean taking for granted the great things that God does. The fact that God is the one providing these benefits means a lot more than anything else in this world and these are the greatest benefits that people can ever have. It reminds us that we should be grateful and we should share with others what God has done for us, so that they too will experience the goodness of God and will glorify Him. - Commentary by: Jeremy B. Today's Prayer

Lord, thank You for all of these benefits. You have given me the greatest gift that man can ever have. Help me to draw more closer to You and to share all of these blessings with others. Amen.
