Today's Verse

"Ah Lord God! It is you who made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you." - Jeremiah 32:17

Recognizing the power of God, as the creator of everything, amplifies both our faith and trust in Him. Despite the condition of Jeremiah and the coming Babylonian captivity, Jeremiah placed his complete trust in God, recognizing His power and His mercy. This reminds us that whatever trials we are facing or no matter how difficult the situation may be, we should remain faithful to God. Things may be hard for us, but nothing is too hard for our great and almighty Lord. If we look back on our past, God has done so many great and wonderful things for us. The greatest thing that He has done is saving us from our sins and changing our lives. This is the best reason to trust Him.- Commentary by: Jeremy B. Trio

Today's Prayer

Lord, help me to be reminded of Your great power every time I look at Your creations. Help me to place my full confidence in You at all times. Amen
