Today's Verse

"By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith." – Hebrews 11:7

Preparation is always one of the greatest keys to good living. When someone warns of a probable hurricane, what does one do? They always say that it can go this way or that way. But, you want to make sure that you have the provisions in place for you and those that you love. One of the greatest preparers in the bible was, Noah. He was a devoted man who was attentive to the Lord's voice, and submissive to His great will. When the Lord told Noah of His plans, Noah's faith was powerful, it motivated him to great action. Could most of us do the same? He was obedient to the Lord, feared Him, and trusted Him. He was pleasing and righteous in the Lord's sight.
