Today's Verse

"But as for you, ye thought evil against me: but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones, And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them." - Genesis 50: 20, 21

Everyone has disagreements. It is a fact of life. Yet, one of the most difficult types of disagreements to have, is between family members. When family members argue, it can be one of the worst pains the heart will endure. This is usually because of the love that they share. It can also be a foundation of growth upon which to become stronger. The greatest example of this from the bible is the story of Joseph. Joseph's brothers were jealous of him because he was highly favored by their father. They developed a detailed plan to get him out of the picture, and out of their Father's heart for good. God had other plans. Later, they found out that he was still alive, and asked for his forgiveness. Joseph forgave them with a whole heart filled with love.
