Today's Verse

"The Lord merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and the stars were born." - Psalm 33:6

God speaks to us in some of the most amazing forms. Creation is only one of them. Psalm 33 is a great reminder of that. When we look around at the world God has created, do we take the time to stare in wonder at what He has done. He spoke and the masterpieces that we enjoy each day appeared out of thin air. As God spoke the world's creation came into being. As believers it is the same way with all of us. God has spoken something wonderful into our hearts, what we often overlook is the idea of learning more about what He has spoken. Today, hold on to the fact that God has placed something unique to who you are, within your heart. All you need do is accept it. - Commentary by Matthew Elliott

Today's Prayer

Father God, sometimes I know I miss the mark when it comes to giving my heart to You. Teach me not to overlook the words You speak to me. Amen.
