Today's Verse

"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring the good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound." - Isaiah 61:1

Our great God has anointed each of us for great things. Often times Satan can get into our thoughts and try to convince us otherwise. We don't have to feel this way though. The Spirit of the Lord God has appointed us believers, as His ambassadors. Our task is to build up the brokenhearted with whatever gifts we have been given and to proclaim His great love to everyone we can. It may seem at times that we are in over our heads, and that may indeed be, but God's favor is upon all those that are faithful to Him. Don't give into the thoughts Satan will attempt to enforce upon you. God has given you a special task to accept and He always provides for those that accept what He has for them. - Matthew Elliott

Today's Prayer

Father God, thank You for anointing me to be an ambassador for You. Show me today, how I can embrace the calling and faithful promise that You have given me. Amen.
