Today's Verse

"God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him." - James 1:12

Endurance is defined as the ability to withstand hardship but it's more than that. Pure endurance empowers a believer to stand firm in hard times as well as in good times. It is embracing the ability to patiently endure the test of time in the hopes of something bigger than oneself. We are always going to need endurance in life. In the good times and in the bad times we, as believers, are set apart to be witnesses of Pure Endurance. Truthfully, in today's world we are outsiders. Dear friends, patiently endure whatever the world attempts to derail you with and endure the testing of time. Embrace the knowledge that there is a crown of life that has been promised to you today. Withstand whatever hardships may come through His great power; Cling to His promises. - Matthew Elliott
