Today's Verse

"But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. Do this with gentleness and respect." - 1 Peter 3:15

The hope that we have in Jesus Christ is a very powerful testimony of joy. We should always be ready to share that testimony with others as the opportunity arises. At times, there are going to be situations when our testimony of faith can have an impact on those around us. Our lives can make a difference in someone else's. They also serve as a testimony of God's work in the world around us. We can use our experiences to reach out to others. Be prepared to share what God has done for you. Everyone has had some type of encounter with God that can bring hope to someone else. All we have to do is be open to sharing those experiences with gentleness and respect towards our fellow man. Speak your hope and bring that hope to others. – Commentary by Matthew Elliott

Today's Prayer

God, thank You for giving my life hope, I pray that as I live my life in love and in faith that my experiences will bring others to You. Help me to be the witness You have called me to be. Amen.
