Today's Verse

"And when you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses." – Mark 11:25

Has anyone ever hurt your feelings? Most of us can answer yes to that question. It is a situation that brings uncertainty as to healing. Yet, before we react in our human nature, we should consider two things: what is best in God's eyes, and what would God want us to do. The concept of giving someone another chance and forgiving them is not easy. But, no one said that life would be easy. That's why we have an instrument of petition called prayer. God knows our strengths and weaknesses. If we are willing to seek him, He will help us. He wants us to show kindness and love even in adversity. He also requires us to remember that we are not perfect. If we want Him to forgive us, then we must forgive others. Total and complete healing begins where love takes control. – Commentary by Lisa M. Today's Prayer

Father, I want to learn how to forgive as you do. Please give me the strength to show love and to live always in healing peace. Amen.

Today is Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, that commemorates the attack on Pearl Harbor, in Hawaii, during World War II. Let's remember all service men and women who lost their lives or were injured on this day in 1941.Remember all our fallen heroes and their families daily.
