Today's Verse

"So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God." - 1 Corinthians 10:31

Do you think only full time pastors or ministers can serve God everyday or that serving God means doing something enormously significant? It doesn't mean you have to wear yourself out doing extravagant acts of service all the time. Serving God can mean making sure your kids are taken care of or sitting in a cubicle doing office work. It means doing your best in whatever you do each day for the glory of God. According to this verse even eating and drinking can be done for God's glory! So, have an attitude of praise in whatever you do and serve Him, even in the little things. - Commentary by: Traci Elliott

Lord, may I do my best in all things, serving You day to day. In Jesus' name, Amen.
