Today's Verse

"Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her…" - Ephesians 5:25

How to be a good husband cannot be found on best-selling books about marriages. The foundation lies on these three simple words "love your wife". Some husbands failed to do this, because they thought their focus is on their leadership in the family. Their leadership is their wife's job (read Ephesians 5:22) "wives, be subject to your husbands as to the Lord." Their wife's focus is to make them great leaders of the family. Husbands must focus on loving their wife unconditionally just like the love of Christ for the church. If the husband's mindset and goal is anchored on loving his wife, he and his wife can survive the raging tempest of their marriage relationship. They can make their marriage stronger as the years pass by and will last for their entire lifetime.- Commentary by Jeremy Trio

Today's Prayer

Lord thank You for loving me unconditionally. You gave Your life to save me from my sin. Help me Lord to do the same thing for my wife to love her unconditionally just like You did. Amen.
