Today's Verse

Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete. John 16:24

There was one boy murmuring and grumbling as he was walking on the road. When he was asked why he was murmuring and grumbling, he said that his parents did not give him what he wanted. Then he was asked "did you ask them to give you that?" he plainly said no. Many of us have this problem. We don't receive because we don't ask. Jesus said that we should ask anything on his name, so that we will receive it and our joy will be complete. God knows our needs even if we don't tell Him, but he wants us to come to Him and ask. Praying for our requests to God, recognizes God as our provider, and it also signifies our dependence and trust in Him. So don't forget to ask in Jesus name. - Commentary by: Jeremy B. Trio

Today's Prayer

Lord, thank You for the promise and assurance that You are ready to give if we only ask. Help me Lord to be more prayerful than what I am now. Amen.
