Hope and Comfort in Jesus

Gospel Template

Today's Verse

"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves the crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18

Communion and conversation with Christ, is so important to us, but also for Christ. For most of us, although He was always there, He showed up for us in a time of heartbreak or despair; at least that's how we often see it. The truth is that God will often times bring us to places of despair and surrender, so that He can be seen in our lives. My pastor says that "sometimes the only place we are connecting with God is in our suffering." This is the place of surrender where we meet God and He comes through for us time and time again, because of His love and faithfulness towards us. So if you are going through a season of despair right now, I want to encourage you to see where God is moving in your life. He's there waving his hands across a crowded room waiting for you to see Him, so He can comfort you! - Commentary by: Mike Ramos

Today's Prayer

Father God, I love You and thank You for Your undeserving grace. The hope You represent in my life, will help get me through my struggles. Thank You for being with me today and every day. In Jesus name, Amen.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have someone do your grocery shopping?  Sounds good to me, because I don't like to grocery shop. But what if it was a two-year old doing your shopping? Hmmm...Take a look and decide for yourself. Trust me, you don't want to miss this. Spaghettis' anyone?

Today's commentary is written by one of our new writer's, Mike Ramos.  We are so blessed to have his help.

Many blessings,
David
