Today's Verse

"Whoever is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much; and whoever is dishonest in a very little is dishonest also in much." - Luke 16:10

There are times in many believers lives when the passion they once felt in following the Lord is no longer there. The "feelings" are gone and we're left in a sort of dead zone. It's easy in those times to feel far away from God and wonder what went wrong. This is a normal feeling in any relationship. The question is, what do we do during this time to preserve our faith and stay on track? First off, don't give up and don't think that God has left you. The best thing that I think we can do is simply to remain faithful. Even if you feel like your prayers hit the ceiling, keep praying. Even if you can't seem to get anything out of scripture, keep reading. God's light will come and He will always be near. Commentary by: Traci Elliott

Today's Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your never ending faithfulness to us. Help us to remain faithful to you whether we feel Your presence or not. In Jesus' name, Amen.
