Gospel Template Today's Verse "It is well with those who deal generously and lend, who conduct their affairs with justice." Psalm 112:5 | | | Generosity and kindness flows from within the heart of man. If the heart is good and longs for the welfare of others; generosity and kindness will come out normally and naturally. This verse reminds us that kindness and generosity is highly commended in the Bible. It is also the characteristic of the true follower of Christ. It is our good testimony to the people around us and to our community that shows that we are truly the sons of God. However, the verse also teaches us to have good discernment in showing kindness to others. Let us also be wise to determine those who are abusive to our generosity and kindness. It doesn't mean that we should deal with them harshly, but let us avoid them and divert our attention to those who are truly in need. - Commentary by: Jeremy B. Trio | | Today's Prayer Lord may my life as a Christian be characterised with kindness and generosity to others. Help me, so that my life will become a blessing to everyone, and that they will see Christ in me, and that Your name will be glorified. Amen. | | | I have an update on Jackie Beiriger, who is going through a rough time. Her surgery that was scheduled at the end of February has been put off for a month. Today she went to the doctor and they found a blockage in one of her kidneys and that needs to be taken care of now before her bladder surgery. She also has a blood clot in her lung. She is asking for prayers. We at "The Gospel Daily" are asking for those that are able, to go to Jackie's "go fund me" page and donate. Let's also pray for Jackie that the Lord's will be done and that she is given a peace around her to handle everything.
