Today's Verse

"Happy are those who find wisdom, and those who get understanding." - Proverbs 3:13

Wisdom and understanding are two of the major themes in the book of Proverbs. Those who read and study God's word can find wisdom and understanding and will receive true happiness, because these things can only be found in the Word of God. This reminds us that we should not waste our time and effort finding true happiness on temporary and worldly things. Some people spend a lot of money trying to find happiness, but it is only temporary. We should be spending more time reading and studying the Bible. Only the Bible can show us the path to true happiness in life. We should also thank God, because the Bible is there and is always available to us anytime we want it for free. - Commentary by: Jeremy B. Trio

Today's Prayer

Lord, thank You for making me realize that true happiness is not in this world but it's in the beauty of Your Word. Help me to constantly study Your word to acquire wisdom and understanding. Amen.
