Today's Verse

"As God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience." - Colossians 3:12

Many people spend quite a bit of money on clothes. They want to look good and feel good. People like to dress in the latest styles, get the latest haircut, and they love to look the epitome of success. But have you ever dressed well and looked good on the outside, but on the inside you don't feel pretty and put together? God does not care what we look like on the outside. He cares about what is inside of us. You can spend as much money as you can afford on your outside appearance, but if you have an angry heart, a bitter smile, are impatient, or hateful, you are not clothing yourselves as God would have you do. Think about how you can change your inside appearance so it is pleasing to God. Then watch how your face will radiate what you're feeling inside. - Commentary by: Anna Pachaud

Today's Prayer

Lord, help me to always look good on the inside. Remind me daily that my inside appearance means so much more than what I am wearing on the outside. In Jesus name, Amen.
