Don’t be a “Perishable”

Gospel Template

Today's Verse

"You have been born anew, not of perishable but of imperishable seed, through the living enduring word of God." – 1 Peter 1:23

As we begin to live a life born anew in Christ, things begin to change. Our lifestyle changes, our attitude changes, sometimes even our friends change, but most importantly our heart changes. From day one, we face many trials and discomforts, but when we accept Christ, we open up a new door in life. Jesus begins to work to change us from the "perishable" child we once were to the "imperishable" vessel of light we were meant to be. The word of God finds a place in our hearts and can change us completely. The result is always something better than what we were on day one. As you go through life remind yourselves, that as believers, God is constantly working in our hearts. What is better than that? - Commentary by: Matthew J. Elliott

Today's Prayer

Father God, we love You and we know that You are with us every step of the way. Today, we pray that You will give us the opportunity to plant some imperishable seeds in the world around us. Help us honor You. Amen.

We hope you will check us out on our Patreon site. We are really excited how God has blessed us with the opportunity to grow our ministry. When you become a Patron, you will receive our daily emails seven days a week, instead of the usual five. There are gifts and rewards too. So take a look.

In gratitude,
David
