Today's Verse

"When the devil had finished every test, he departed from him until an opportune time." –Luke 4:13

Do you find it harder to resist certain temptations and avoid certain sins? It is a struggle to fight these temptations and keep on God's path. Do you know that Jesus knows exactly what you are going through and desires to show you compassion rather than condemnation? He knows what you're going through, because He too was tempted in the wilderness. Satan came at Him with "every test." Just because Jesus resisted and remained sinless does not mean that He felt no struggle between what His human body wanted and what was right. Jesus can sympathize with our weaknesses, because He has been there. He wants to empower you to overcome temptation, not condemn you for struggling. Continue fighting the good fight of faith. Today's Prayer

Thank you, Jesus, that You have faced the same struggles we have and can empathize with us. Thank You for the grace You freely give so that though we stumble, we can get back up and try again. Amen.

Meet Colonel and Caleb. Caleb was in an accident and when Colonel, a therapy dog, walked into Caleb's room one day, positive things started happening for the little boy. You might shed a tear or two, but it will be tears of joy. Take a look and give a prayer of thanks for all the service animals and emotional support animals out there. They are truly wonderful.
